Day 5 – ULB (Cove Lookout Trail Hike)

It ended up being one of the most beautiful hikes I have been on in a LONG time. The only thing that can describe it is the pictures I took. North Idaho has some spectacular hikes and views, but Idaho doesn’t take care of their trails and state parks like Oregon and Washington. Isaac and I grew up in this area and have missed hiking well cared for trails. (He and his family built trails in the Northwest during the summers when he grew up). Continue reading

Day 4 – ULB (The Whole Family Together!)

My family comes and goes with feeling comfortable on camera — especially when eating, it’s super uncomfortable for them, but I want to thank them publicly for allowing me to share our meals this week with the worldโ€“โ€“as it is our family’s collective gift to the King (the Bread of Life) and Papa Yah (our Deliverer). I’m super thankful that they are trying to play with me on this. Continue reading

So, here at the cabin we have indulged ourselves with one show to watch last night and tonight… The Voice. Only to see our friend and local dude, Jacob Maxwell’s performances. And tonight was an emotional ride. Wow!! Continue reading

Shabbat Travel

I always stress about what I post about how we spend our Shabbats. Why? Probably because I don’t know who all my audience is and how things will be received. I know that Scattered Israel is all over the board when it comes to how we are to spend Shabbat. Some people get pretty nit-picky and judgmental about it…. Continue reading
